I’ve been off of it for over a week and, thankfully, I have not noticed any difference so far. I mean, I still have my Abilify Maintena shots. All Haldol did for me was reduce my paranoia, so I hope that doesn’t come back.
It’s super cheap at Walmart, just $8 for 60 tablets. It’s ridiculous that I don’t want to spend $8, considering I’m spending $2-3/day on Black & Mild cigars. Those help keep me from going crazy in other ways. Or burning $6 in gas every Sunday to go to my friend’s house, though that does help with my depression. I have to spend $10 on Lamictal later this week; I absolutely cannot go without that, partly because stopping it abruptly could result in seizures.
I’m not sure why I’m telling all of you this. I guess I had to tell someone, since no one else knows. If I start getting all freaked out and paranoid, that’s why. I’ll probably get it in a couple weeks, considering this Thursday’s pay will be for just one day of work at the foundry (around $75 take-home, barely enough for food and gas for the week).
I’m a little concerned about how I’m going to pay for my Wellbutrin (around $65-70 through GoodRx coupon), less than two months from now. That’s how much i currently have left. I had been getting it for free through the clinic’s “central pharmacy,” but they did away with that.
I could literally die without my Wellbutrin. Maybe my sister could buy it for me when the time comes, if necessary. She bought it for me once, a few years ago. I was off it for at least a few days when i asked her to buy it for me, and I was already in very bad condition, barely functioning.
