Its called Ant-Abuse here in uk. I asked the GP for it years ago, but they said i wasnt serious enough - cos im not physically addicted, i dont get tremors, sweating etc. without a drink.

Ive gone off the vape tho - and bought a packet of 20 cigs. A smokes helping.
PW (Papa Wayne) my mother in laws bf didn’t have insurance so when he got throat cancer the doctors told him it was strep and sent him home to die.
I mean do you have insurance? Medical benefits?
@Loke Yeah, i think in bad periods i drink 5-7 units a day. The other addicts were drinking a bottle of booze a day.
@Naarai try to ask your doctor about antabus once again. I have used it several times, and the way its working psychological, is that the craving is less, because you know you cant drink, but it’s not a permanent solution.

Im from Denmark, EU… here the standard treatment for even minor alcoholism, is a short period of antabus in the beginning, and then either on your own or with a consultant.
It’s not a “heavy” drug, you cant “feel” it anyway, it just makes you sick if you drink, and thats the reason why they sometimes dont use it for heavy binge alcoholics, cause they drink any way and get sick.

I get that, like I drink a 12 pack of coke after I go to the dentist.
I literally can’t feel alcohol anymore when I drink its like I’m drinking water
