I found this online:

  1. Keep your feet in lukewarm, soapy water for up to 20 minutes.
  2. Use a loofah, foot scrubber, or pumice stone to remove any hard, thick skin.
  3. Gently pat your feet dry.
  4. Apply a heel balm or thick moisturizer to the affected area.
  5. Apply petroleum jelly over your feet to lock in moisture.

1 part vinegar
1 part mouthwash
2 parts warm water
Soak for 20 minutes or more.
Wipe off most dead skin.
Put lotion on heels and socks over top.

For very dry skin try putting crisco on the area and wearing socks. I use crisco as a base for my herbal salves. If you want to know how to make my basic healing salve, let me know. It’s easy.

Vaseline under saran wrap with a sock at bedtime can help. The heels can get quite dry and calloused, and cracks in them can be sore and get infected. Self-help measures are regular applications of skin emollients, use of heel cups and cushions to make them more comfortable, and use of a pumice stone to file down excess skin buildup. Flexitol is an excellent over the counter lotion for cracked heels.

Also, if the crack is bleeding, apply a piece of tape to help keep the crack closed. This will prevent the crack from getting worse and also allow the crack to heel. Avod walking barefoot, especially if you have tile or hard wood floors in your house. If Flexitol does not work, than you made need a prescription lotion.

A podiatrist can offer more options to you.

Yea I think I’m gonna start scrubbing down that skin it’s so tough.
Yes flexitol I ve heard of that thanks that’s the one I may need to get.

Cos it has done wonders for my dad in the past just forgot wat it’s called

My mother in law has a problem with dry feet,

She uses this:

O'Keeffe's for Healthy Feet Foot Cream, 3.2 Ounce

Its really helped her feet out, they look much better and are no longer cracked.

Like the others have mentioned, she puts it on at night, then puts socks on.

@anon90843118, I used to have extremely dry, cracked, old man looking feet. (I’m a woman). My big toes even had terrible fungus. I got rid of the fungus by going to a podiatrist every three months and getting my toenails cut down to the quick every three months until the fungus was gone.

I got rid of the cracked, thick, dry, calloused skin on my feet by cleaning out my tub and shower thoroughly every time I used it. And by cleaning my feet and toes thoroughly with soap and water every time I took a bath or shower. And also by drying my feet and toes thoroughly after each bath or shower. I also changed into clean, dry socks or hose every day.

I never have to use lotion or creams on my feet to soften them. Just keeping them super clean and dry does the trick. My feet and toenails are soft, clear and beautiful today.

A podiatrist gave me an ointment to get rid of callous skin. I stopped wearing my Teva sandals with a sole like flipflops. My foot problems disappeared.
