My feet are so bad, sob.
The cracks are so deep they hurt.
And my sock material has gone in the cracks too as you can see.
I’m so upset lol.
What can I do peeps?
Anyone has similar and wants to show off?
I honestly dunno wat to use.
May need to try gp cream if no one has any non gp ideas.
Thanks… Gracias… Merci beaucoup… Danke…
Ouch. I’m sorry @Zoe , that looks painful.
The only thing I can think of that might help is unpopular opinion here, that is try lowering your sugar and carb intake, eat more meat and veggies.

Does that really help?
How do you know. Its a very interesting idea.
Technically there is no concrete proof, but I’ve read about it helping people with such problems. Just anecdotal evidence which isn’t great.
However it is low risk as eating meat and veg is good for you anyway .

Thanks!! I think you might be onto something. That’s what my instinct tells me.
Too much sugar can never be good.
And also if I get diabetes and this gets worse, it will be very hard to heal due to diabetes.

Maybe your holiday will help to let them rest. You could also get a pedicure and let a specialist treat them.
I hope that it’s not too painful.

Honestly if it’s hurting you should see a podiatrist. pain you definitely need a doctor cause there might be infection

I doubt there’s an infection but it could lead to one. It’s more like the pain of a deep cut.

Looks really painful! My feet were really bad at one point. It could be a fungus issue?? I’d definitely see a doctor. Pedicure also may help if doctor says it’s nothing. Not just for “self care” or pampering yourself but actually removing the dead skin to help it stop cracking

Ahh looks like it should hurt as hell !!
Idk take some rest for real,
And probably some cream could help.
I never had such problem so I hardly think about any advice :((

Yea I might just go to the doctor and collect a special oily cream from them.
I’m not a fan, but it could help.
Thanks everyone

I 100% agree about the podiatrist. In the meantime, can you soak them in warm water with epsom salts several times a day? After carefully patting them dry, maybe try Aquaphor (generic works fine)? I am not a medical professional, but that’s the only thing I can think of in the interim.
ETA I’d consider a wrap to secure moisture and keep socks out. I bet saran wrap would work. ???

Hmm I’m not American idk if we have these products here but thankyou so much. I’m gonna see if there are alternatives.
I think it’s also to do with fact I walk loads at work n gained weight.
So it’s like the weight on my feet effect. Too

Epsom salt is just soaking salt. Aquaphor is petroleum jelly.

Oh okay I didn’t realise about the aquaphor. That’s good to know.
Epsom salts I know, I used to work in a natural store.
Wishing you well

Oh! I forgot one. Saran wrap is plastic wrap, like you might use to cover food or even a new tattoo.

Ohh OK.
Yea that reminds me I had a colleague she creamed her hands with oily cream then put plastic gloves on at night. Seems similar to what you’re saying
