Time for yet another thread.
I am not wearing a mask any longer. I am fully vaccinated now. Is it still possible to get covid 19?
Yes it is possible to get covid. Vaccines aren’t 100%.
AstraZeneca Aims to File for U.S. Covid Vaccine License This Fall
You can still get covid and transmit it to others, particularly those who can’t be vaccinated. The courteous thing to do is keep wearing a mask. The good news for you is that vaccine greatly reduces your chances of severe illness and death as outcomes.
This is the sheer idiocy of the leadership where I live:
My wife and I are looking to relocate to Eastern Canada next year.
I just received my first Moderna shot the other day. Have to wait until the end of August for the second dose.
If it spreads almost as fast as measles we are going to need 90%+ of the population fully vaxxed to achieve some level of herd immunity. The 70% marker they have been speaking about won’t be good enough.
I looked up the lot # of my Astrazeneca shot and it came from this manufacturing plant, yikes! But I got my shot months ago and seem to be fine so I hope there is nothing to worry about.
This is the same plant that had problems manufacturing the J&J vaccine
Over a quarter of the global population has been fully vaccinated, when will we reach herd immunity???
