A disease developed for population control ?
China and India are very close together and both countries have the largest populations in the world.

I heard a scientist from the CDC say that what we should be worried about is the flu.

I took the flu shot this year and will continue to take it every year. A few years ago I got a flu so bad I almost stopped being able to breathe. And I’m still in my 20s.

when an animal overpopulates its environment, a disease often springs up and culls the herd. It is natural for the environment to do this and we are no different than animals.
We had the Spanish flu that killed millions and now we have this new virus.
Humans do their best to defend against nature which aims to stop overpopulation of any living thing with vaccines, but that goes against nature and will ultimately fail.
I don’t think it is any government led conspiracy theory, if that is what you are getting at, but nature itself.

But don’t you think it’s rather odd that a “mysterious virus” breaks out in a country that is the most populated country in the world,

In 1820 we had the Cholera outbreak
In 1920 we had the Bubonic Plague

I love a good conspiracy theory, but I don’t find that odd or strange at all. There are over a billion people there, in a very densely populated place. Sicknesses spread quickly.

No, this virus popped up between reptile and human interaction in a densely populated area.
I think a government would kill anyone who threatened their status quo of governmental power, but it wouldn’t kill its own massive population of its own desire. It needs a country to rule and hegemony over the other empires in the world.
If this spreads, it spreads globally due to air travel, not just in India and China.
