This does seem to be more designed for the ladies.
Yes, my first thought was, “Where are the weights?”
I wonder what a coping tool box more for men would have in it or do men not need coping tool boxes?
Well, my son’s toolbox definitely contains a set of weights, a flat screen TV and a Sony PlayStation! Those are the essentials. But surely access to the Internet is a basic for both sexes these days.
I would add a good book to that toolbox.
I think mine would have some crossword puzzles, music, a book (Alice in Wonderland maybe, haven’t read that for years), some tablet(fond memories of my mum making it), a dvd of a film (Marx brothers maybe), colouring book.
I like a big warm blanket when I’m feeling down or overwhelmed.
Some good old fashioned porn, jk guys,…
I don’t know, maybe some kale and or spinache. Self help books
take care
Cigarettes & alcohol! !!

In all seriousness aromatherapy does tend to be pretty effective for me in a short-term, in the moment sort of way. It’s not going to make my symptoms go away, but it can bring things to a halt for a moment when I feel like I’m going over the edge. My mind just responds very strongly to certain types of smells, especially earthy/herbal. I buy the smaller bottles of Now Foods essential oils since the price isn’t bad for the quality. I respond well to stuff like cedar, pine, patchouli, sage, etc.
One of the ways that helped me get through my first job, was in an office, is that I would have a small candle jar that was herbal in my desk drawer, and sometimes when others were not around, I would take it out and just put my face in it and breathe for a couple minutes.
Outside of that chain smoking while rapidly pacing and talking to myself helps, but can’t always do that when not at home lol.
Small objects, like the tiny toys I used to keep hidden so my brothers wouldn’t destroy, that make me smile.
