Cooking with Hot Air!

So pretty impressed with it and we got an air fryer. Heard some good things and we got rid of the oven a while ago … we just have some electric hotplates and a small electric oven. Very impressed with the results already and it’s early days. Just so much better than the electric and food is pretty good.

Dad just likes steak, chips and salad so the chips are actually pretty good. I’m going to have some fun with this device and it was only $89 for 5.3L air fryer. Gotta love decent technology!

Wow I had never heard of such a thing!

Would it be good for me cooking meal for one?

I have been trying to eat better, but I don’t like all the mess it makes cooking a proper meal

Could I get this and just air cook everything in one pan at the same time?

Yeah…you get them in different sizes. Cooks with convection so nicer than microwaves and you can do a lot of stuff in them. Thoroughly recommended. Had some chicken drumsticks and nice skin and little cooking time. Very good.

I think this is good.

Will have a look online and research them and see about it

Cooking for one as I say is messy and I don’t like cleaning endless pans and cooking stuff

Most the time I eat out of a packet

Easy to clean this one we got and it’s more healthy. Less oil than frying and you get what seems a nicer cook on the chicken at least. Worth the investment and these days with the internet there’s so many good recipes out there. $90 was well spent!

You can also get them in combination with a toaster oven like our most recent one. Got rid of our old smaller air fryer and got a combo air fryer and toaster oven.

Yeah good move. I love to eat. So I love to cook and eat what is tasty and I too look to eat healthier. Air fryer is way less fat than frying or oven. I think it’s a great move and there’s so many good recipes out there…get creative…eat to enjoy!

The one I bought has a massive chart on how long things take to cook, and has ideas of what to do with it.

I am very interested in this

Think in the long run it will save me money, as pre-cooked meals are more expensive than buying the raw ingredients - especially at Aldi

Consider it an investment in your health. Honestly. The more your interested in cooking and enjoying what you eat the better you will be. It’s your health and you need to look out for it…just make sure your eating what you like!

Look up “air fryer” on amazon. You can do chips in 8 mins, and some youtube videos have cooked a chicken in one!.

You want a sunflower oil to drizzle over it sometimes - but they are really fast cookers. They hammer your electric tho - so be aware if your on a key meter.
