Thanks Schztuna!
Get this done! Its not that difficult. I needed some for my Erasmus program and at first I was a bit hesitant but its only bureaucracy.
A masters is cool you have more freedom.
Maybe look broader like the Netherlands or some place they speak murica. For masters I think even places like Germany can be done in English. Way easier on the $ than USA.
Haha! Very true
, thanks for that reminder.
Dang, an international masters would be wildā murica does have some great programs but there are a lot of European universities that slam dunk it as well.
The point made by dreamer54 about beaucracy is very true for me too, i applied for quite a few courses and nobody was concerned i had no academic reference. (UK/England)
Huh, thatās defos interesting and also makes me feel a bit better about those letters ![]()
I wouldnt suggest UK. Itās considerably more expensive. Public education in EU is great and cheap. And there are plenty of scholarships and housing programs, and financial aids. Donāt be afraid to play the mental illness card to receive even more benefits.
Thatās what Iāve heardā I do have dual citizenship so maybe I could sneak under the radar and find a spot at a school
.
However, Iād also be in Europeā probs be wanting to do everything except study haha. ![]()
May I ask where? I got a friend from Colombia whos grandma is italian. He is practically treated like an European here. He is usually fishing for cheap plane tickets to visit every country nearby (from Morocco/Turkey to Finland) even during the semester. Meanwhile, officially he studies a masters.
Steps to help anxiety regarding failing or making mistakes for those who are currently studying:
(My take:)
-
list what goes wrong or what you want to avoid happening
-
learn how much control you have over the outcome and then work a plan based off this.
That is very cool that heās doing some traveling and studying as well
.
Edx.org might help if youre looking for further studies,
I spent most of my twenties at a tech school. I am going to go back next year and study computer networking. Iām thinking of going thru Penn foster for medical coding and billing.
Just got rejected for the second year in a row from a full-ride scholarship at a prestigious liberal arts school offered to adults whose educational careers were derailed. The first interview I claimed I was a Talmudic Zetetique. The second time I said I was an Acid Powered Ubermensch. Now Iām a Hebetudinous Autodidact.
Just got an offer from my alma mater. Theyre just outside the top 10 for UK economics, this is incredible news given my poor overall grade in my degree ![]()
The course is very very stat and maths heavy but idc, i like that stuff bc its challenging
That is amazing! Congrats, and you can defos ace the math ![]()
Thatās an awesome line of workā always in demand so that means youāll always have opportunities. Good luck @roxanna ![]()
Thnak you Schztuna!!
Woke up worried about the amount of maths in this masters course, the better one vs the lesser one. Got me feeling worried because what if i dont try hard enough and it all backfires ![]()
Iāve done a BSc Health Sciences with voices and now want to do a MSc Mental Health Science, but last time I tried I got too tense and dropped out.
Now Iām wondering if I have to try again with better meds, try a different Uni or donāt try at all.
Iām thinking of planning how to manage stressful situations. How to make better use of the nurse assigned to me, to keep myself steady.
Maybe you can try plan contingency situations. Who you would go to for support. And how you would get the support? Grad school is stressfull but i dont think we should let thsat stop us trying.
