I’m an optimist, I think things may get a little rough for a while because the transition to a clean green future isn’t happening very fast, but ultimately I think things will be fine.

Yeah, I know, it has been fast, but life will evolve and adapt as long as it is not too extreme and too fast so I don’t see a complete extinction on the horizon.
It’s hard to fathom the technologies we will have in 25 years, never mind the end of the century. If we can pull enough carbon out of the atmosphere, the temperature increase will slow down, stop and possibly reverse itself.

That’s the key word, “projections”. It’s not a fact, it’s a theory. Yes we should take climate change seriously but there have been projections that the end is coming in 10 years for 50 years now and they have always been wrong.

Yeah, they did use that word, the tobacco companies denied cancer. But that doesn’t have anything to do with me, I am not denying climate change, I’m saying I don’t think the end is coming, we are working on the problem, and in the end things will be fine.

Of course that would bother me, if it were to happen, I just don’t think it will turn out that way.

Like i said initially, it may get a little rough for a while, and that may be unavoidable now. We can’t change what we have done in the past. We can only focus on the present and the future, and we are doing that.
