Come meditate with me

Lay down comfortably
Remove any distraction
Breathe in and out comfortably
Focus your attention on each part of your body and relax it completely

Neck…, face…, hands…, back…, chest…, legs…, ankles…, feet…

Count in and out, in and out…

Keep breathing naturally
Dont let yourself be distracted by any thing
No thoughts
Just focus on how your body feels

AND RELAX :relieved: repeat…

With Love and peace to you all xxxxx

This is called a “body scan” meditation. I think someone I am not allowed to name on here used to do them. The problem with talking about that stuff on here is that it inevitably brings up religion because of the traditions that go into the practice. Body scans have their root in Buddhism with Vipassana meditation. Anyway, you should look up MBSR (mindfulness based stress reduction) meditations. They have been known to increase the density of the hippocampus and create an impact on mood, stability and well being. I never stuck with it for that long, but I will say that i use the principle behind their raisin meditation in my daily life to help ground myself in reality.
