Has anyone else combined Aripiprazole with Amisulpride. I’m a little concerned with the side effects of combining anti psychotics, I’ve been feeling a bit off taking them.

When i was testing the invega oral tablets while I was on risperidone, it was mainly fine. However, invega is just the main metabolite for risperidone, so they are fairly similar
Basically after my experience, I would say combining antipsycho’s that aren’t at all related is a bad idea.
I take haldol, abilify and zyprexa
Zyprexa is a good drug I hope it works for u om

I’ve felt okay taking them individually in the past but together, I think they are making me unwell. The psychiatrist wants me to switch from one to the other but to take them together before I switch. I not sure about this being a good idea
the main risk associated with double antipsychotics is that you amplify the risk of side effects. if you can get away without side effects, then it should be fine though you should be monitored for the risk of developing a motion disorder
