College is making me miserable

Failure isn’t actually that big of a deal. You pick yourself up and you keep going. You keep trying something different until you succeed. Like nfy said it’s just part of life, and you’re going to come in contact with failure no matter what you choose to do. If you really want to be an entrepreneur go for it.

No one is going to mock you for not having a degree plenty of people don’t have college degrees. Anyone who mocks you for not having one is stuck up, a bad person and not worth your time.

Never read his biography. I already read about Leonardo Da Vinci and I have a book about Walt Disney.

It’s admirable you did all of that!

I study Graphic Design. Actually, I can do whatever Graphic Design job I want without the degree…

Abraham Lincoln failed at pretty much everything in his life.
But he ended up becoming a President.
It’s a pretty impressive story.

It makes sense. I prefer failing 100 times as an entrepreneur than succeeding at college.

It grabbed my attention. I will research about him. It recalls me another guy who failed 999 inventions and just succeeded the number 1000.

I think if you are already learned in graphic design, then you don’t need a degree to back you up as an entrepreneur. Just create a demo reel on YouTube and try to start getting freelance jobs online. You can do this without quitting college first, to test your level of success.

Currently I am trying to learn blender and zbrush. If I think I gain enough skill, I will start looking at freelance websites online.

College is also making me miserable but I only have 1 exam to go and a dissertation. I’m just going to have to find the willpower to finish and move on to something else. I’m just too close to graduation to quit.

Good idea. But I think I need extra help even to continue college.

I can get my degree until the end of this year. You’re very close to your degree. I’m kind close to mine too.

College isn’t for everyone. Me, I loved being in college. I ran into my daughter’s friend who told me she got her commercial drivers license and she drives a truck for construction :building_construction:.

I’d ask yourself why you would want to go to college and go from there. If what inspires you is inspiring people, maybe look in to starting at a place where you get to work and interact with people. There’s social pressure to go to college, but if you have no idea why you are there, there’s not a point or good outcome.

Weren’t you studying pharmacy or dentistry or something like that? What’s wrong? Don’t you like your program of study?

Do what makes you happy
