I’ve been collecting just shy of 3 years when I discovered the pleasure of vinyl. But now I Feel it’s time to stop. I have about 400 records and I feel this is more than enough. I have most of my favorite music anyway. Continuing collecting would be overly materialistic and manic in my view. I might trade in some of it, but I don’t have good conscience to spend more money on it.
This evening I’ve been listening to chris rea, van morrison and be bop deluxe.
I’m happy with what I have stereo wise. Just a couple of standard 6ohm sony speakers and a sony stereo, both bought second hand. Most of my vinyl is second hand too, but still great quality.
I don’t really like to listen to music loud, so I don’t need anything more
