I did neurocognitive testing at the hospital. It showed I have above average processing speed but lower than average problem solving. Other domains were average. Maybe playing video games since a young age improved my processing speed or its just genetic. It matches online results. But before sz I did very good in math problem solving, maybe i lost that skill due to sz. But I function perfectly in daily life no cognitive problems, only problem i have are negative symptoms
My Dr said negative and cognitive symptoms are connected, improving one improves the other, maybe he means they have the same cause physiologically.
I find my social cognition is improving with time.
My executive functioning difficulties when it comes to organising and planning (multi step tasks) are more autism than schizophrenia spectrum related. My visual memory is far from good. My social cognition problems are again more autism than schizophrenia related. I have the very typical, but not universal adaptive functioning< IQ/intelligence going on. The gap supposedly widens as you get older.
