Yes I am thank you. I feel the same. Good days and bad. But ultimately my cognitive symptoms are what I’d most want to lessen.
Can you please take a moment to explain what you mean by “cognitive symptoms?”
Difficulty concentrating, following instructions, memory, retaining information. Those would be some of the cognitive symptoms
My positive symptoms aren’t a big problem anymore; just my cognitive ones.
Department of Rehab got me a smartwatch, which was like the best invention ever for someone like me! Appointments, errands, to-do-lists, text messages, and emails, all get delivered to my wrist with a quick vibration from the watch. I rarely miss doctor’s appointments now! Just have to remember to plug it into my cell phone to get my watch to go off.
I write lists, too, but I often lose lists, so it’s my smartwatch that does all the big work. Mainly, it’s been the smartwatch keeping me on track, reminding me what day it is, what I have to do that day and that week, etc…at like 300 bucks though, it’s an investment if you don’t have a third party to pay for it (it’s a great investment, though and is great assistive technology!).
Caffeine can give you more energy which in turn makes you more focused on your work, but as yet no major relief. I am sure research into Schizophrenia will find new ways to reverse or cure those symptoms soon. Fingers crossed…
