If one someone only has negative symptoms what is the point of taking our current APs.

I need my AP’S for negative symptoms as well. Without my small dose of olanzapine I go dead and into nothingness
Thats what i have only negative and cognitive symptoms… i take aps only to get some sleep…how are u walla fish…

Yes I believe that is your situation. I just get worse negative symptoms when I take APs.

Have you tried sarcosine and an anti depressant.
Both combined will help you tremendously.
Like 6 months ago zeno. I’ve always suffered from worse positives than negatives. I feel the negatives are bad due to the meds

I’m having troubles doing things I know I usually like to enjoy I have not done in about 2 months. Playing games and getting into TV.
I am unsure what to do. I know how you feel. I take them so I can function in my other areas like sleeping eating and not feeling watched and spied not on constantly etc. All those other symptoms come back.
Not sure what to do. I read that sarcosine post at the top of the forum. I may try that. Maybe give that a go ?

I think my adblock blocks it out.
I live in south Africa though so it would take a long time or be pretty expensive.
just check it out. I usually order for one complete year in January. It takes about 3-4 business days from US to CAD but just check it out, you have nothing to lose, it is really worth the investment. It helped me a lot especially with the empty feeling.

I heard that if you have been like 2 years with zero psychotic symptoms you can ask your pdoc to slowly lower your dosage for going meds free.

For me, Vraylar helps some with the negatives. I still have concentration troubles but I always have. I take my ap because I’d be in a lot worse state mentally if i didnt.

I have sza and have a hard time separating the negatives from the bipolar depression from the MDD. It’s all a jumble, a huge cesspool in my brain. Sometimes it’s like you can’t even come up for air. God I’m so mellow dramatic sometimes, but that’s how it feels.

My ap might be helping with my negative symptoms in some way. If you relapse, your brain will only come out worse. More meds. More negs. Something rather tragic…
