Interesting article from 2006. Its crazy that there hasn’t been much improvement in this area in the past 16 years.

Sometimes I am convinced that the cognitive symptoms are permanent brain damage, meds don’t help cognitive symptoms even when I was on Abilify. I often repeated things to my friends and they say you just said it earlier. I wasn’t like that before my first psychosis.

I think my executive function is shot the most by sz.

yeah its hard to say. Well when I took ritalin, it ramped me up enough to be motivated to do activities. my problem is regulating how much I should take.
Im still considering a re-try but maybe keeping a week of pills at a time and giving the rest to my parents. and maybe using a timed lock box lol.
I think its a med that could help me out with the motivation deficit.

oh yeah im told im pretty absent minded. I forget stuff quite a bit more than I use to and also do the repeat thing.
