Has your cognition improved over time?

I feel like my cogntion is improving over time, has anyone experienced the same thing over a period of ayear since they were last diagnosed with schizophrenia because a psychiatrist told me that most people experience a difference in their cognition(positively). I used to have this weird brain fog but now I don’t.

No it hasn’t. It got worse

I have difficulty to concentrate that doesn’t seem to improve.

Why ?
Is there a particular reason?
(If you dont mind me asking)

I have like 2 days out of the week when I can draw or read sometimes less. My short term memory is really bad and I zone out constantly. I can’t do work because I can’t concentrate or focus on a task. Even if I’m talking to a 4 yr old for 20mins I get mentally exhausted and in a weird state. Less stress as possible keeps me from being worn out and that’s if I spend time with my aunt or mom I lose my mind and shut down. It’s been getting worse and then it’s like my family thinks I’m on illegal drugs. Sometimes I wish I was on drugs so I can stop the mental exhaustion or weird state of a high because I can’t control it

I don’t think my cognition has changed much beyond the effects attributable to age .

Mine has gotten better the longer I have been on rexulti. I attribute it to the improvement of depression and the control of positive symptoms.

My paranoia and voices has faded very slowly over time although it can flare up at times

I committed cognitive suicide when I messed up in the past with drugs. But now my cognitive skills are restored a great deal. Probably never be what it was but I’ve made a great cognitive recovery for sure.

My cognitive skills are still foggy. I absolutely hate it. Sheit concentration basically. I get so irritable and hate waiting at bus stops with all those people aswell :frowning:

Mine has improved tremendously! My cognition was great before I got hit with psychosis, then it got really really bad, now it’s pretty good again.

I think maturity has helped me in school. when I was younger I couldn’t do school (mostly JC) as I got older I kept going back and I started doing better.

Yeah it’s gotten better only because of taking supplements. If I didnt take them it never would of improved.

My cognition is getting worse all the time. I’m getting tests to see how bad I really am.

Honestly, when I take 0.5 of clonazepam after not taking it for a while, my creative senses just jump into place and I feel like Bradley Cooper from Limetless
