Has anyone’s heart rate gone back down after taking clozapine. My resting heart rate went from 50-99 as soon as I was out on clozapine.
Anyone in clozapine get their heart rate to go back down?
I really hope your doctor knows about this. Clozapine can be dangerous when it comes to heart problems.
Generally when meds aggravate the heart like that once you go off once all the med is out of your system (which can take quite some time as they have long half lives) your heart rate will be normal again.
My pdoc knows. My white blood cells just got back to where it was before going on clozapine. Hopefully my heart rate will improve. Thanks

I had myocarditis from clozapine. I got taken off real quick. It’s poison.
I agree. However with this med I feel far more stable. Unfortunately it has bad side effects.
I’m sorry you have to take it. I’m on invega sustenna 234. I eat all the time and sleep a lot. I can’t even hold a job cause of the exhaustion. Life really sux right now.
