Has anybody experienced a low resting pulse? (Brachycardia)

I had an attack of a very low heart pulse, my heart was slowly pounding and hands and feets were cold, extremely uncomfortable. A doctor was called and now I have to see a cardiologist.

I know a low resting pulse is associated with people exercising hard but i’m only exercising normally. My pdoc thinks it’s a side effect from the medication.

I’ve had the opposite tachycardia on regular doses of clozapine.

Mine was 120 at rest for years. Not healthy!

When I was at my fittest many years ago, my RHR was in the low 50’s. Now it’s in the high 80’s/low 90’s.

I also had tachycardia on clozapine. When I came off of it I experienced a heart rate in the 40s-50s and had the cold hands and feet…it was thought to relate to the cholinergic rebound of withdrawal. Now my resting rate is the high 50s-60s and the cardiologist gave me the all clear. The QTc prolongation also seems to have resolved (so far, anyway, I’ve only been off the clozapine since March 12).
