Looking forward to being with my family. My step-dad and my step-mom will be in the same room. That should be interesting. We will get to see forced politeness and self-control in action.

Yeah, they both live more than a hundred miles away in two different cities.
I’m going to be caught in the midst of trifling in-laws myself. There is a fair amount of conflict between them since there is no money to spread around, and they argue over who should pay for what. Happens every time they get together. I’m going to focus on having a good time with my wife, and limiting my time spent with them. Her and I will open presents together in an attempt to keep it rather intimate.
