That makes a lot of sense. I think cooking the chicken would kill a lot of germs. I’ve never washed a chicken before cooking it.

You have to nuke any area with bleach after it is exposed to raw chicken. It’s a lot of work.

Dont the USA Chlorinate the chicken over there? As far as im aware UK dont bother.

??? You mean do we put bleach on our chickens? No. I don’t at least.

I bleach water my counter down after handling raw chicken on it.

Oh right. I just thought i read somewhere that they do it in the factories.

They are washed with a light bleach solution and then thoroughly rinsed in the factory. The process is so fast that the meat doesn’t absorb the chemical.
