Its safe to eat, eat clearance chicken sometimes four days after sell buy. sell buy is different from use by anyway

Sorry I meant the use by date was yesterday.
After more thought I don’t thinking I will risk it. If it was cured pork maybe but chicken can be dodgy

It will be fine. Smelling it will give you a clue.

they probably put preservatives in the chicken so it’s probably fine…don’t worry, but like @anon78876561 give it a smell before you eat it just to be sure…

Yeah deli meat lasts a lot longer than fresh and raw. They put those poll dates just to be safe. I feel comfortable cooking them two or three days after. Smell is a good indicator.
