I think I’m more egoistic than I thought and change my own life (thus that of loved ones!!) for the better. If I had no kid, I might pick the other option.

I am too aware of my capability to make a bad situation worse to ever set foot in a time traveling device should such a thing ever come to pass.
I often wish I could go back and change a few things in my past.
id consider going back and changing one event as long as it didnt change my current life too much. its dangerous to mess with the past. i would need to know the effects before i know if i wanna change anything.
