Sometimes it crosses my mind that the past and future only exist in my head.
When we talk about things that happened in the “past” when that moment actually happened, it was in the present.
It’s always been the present. Change happens, yes, but in my opinion, time is an illusion.
We can measure the effect of gravity on it, showing that it is real.

I think you have made a great point. Forgive me for thinking out of the box but I’ve never thought of it as our past was actually a present moment we were in at that moment too. Wow that got deep lol.

There are a lot of things I wish I could go back in my past and change, but we don’t get second chances like that.
You are trying to make sense of something that happened in the past. It is with everyone. My pdoc used to say, just assign some name to it and put aside and move on. It is difficult to do that. But I guess it’s a process.
