Cattle have done a lot for us

I was just wondering what have we ever done for them. The only thing I can think of is that we manage to keep them safe from cats. (the big ones).

The feed chain gets complicated with humans.

There’s no easy answers if you love animals but our bodies like that protein.

I love animals except I am qualifying it a little because I have grown away from cats. Quite a while ago I heard that, as a species, cats are suicidal and if they got their way, they would go extinct. I guess they fit the statement ā€œdidn’t ask to be bornā€.

Don’t think your getting your information right. Cats are gregarious creatures who love to live but on their terms. They are wild animals and hard to train as compared to a pack animal like dogs but they are curious critters.

They can catch pests and bring them to you and a cat has got the VC in England which is the biggest military award for English servants by catching numerous mice on a warship.

You might grow away from a specific cat but they’ll grow away from you as well…Isn’t that your problem?

I think it’s more to do with the fact that I don’t get around like I used to and cats are movers and require it.

Humans love meat but don’t need it.

Protein is everywhere even in plants and soy etc. peanut butter is 25% protein.

I reached all the way into one to help turn around a calf that wouldn’t come out. I was in her up to my shoulder and she emptied her bowels on the side of my head.

That was the moment I decided I was done with ranching.

Interesting tidbit: Vegans will get an IQ bump from creatine when they eat meat. That’s because they are usually deficient. Research has shown it is about 15 IQ points. LOL.

Moderation is the key.

Meat eaters should eat less meat. Before the modern world most humans didn’t have access to beef.

I do eat eggs. Maybe I am keeping that 15% IQ.

I want to hear from @Truemist8

Not with eggs, it’s only in muscle tissue. Buy creatine supplements.

I’m not sure how many days I have left and I’m enjoying them. Pass the steak.

Creatine is a great supplement if your doing weights. Helps stop muscle soreness and it’s a cheap thing to do…Could be bad for hypertension though so now my blood pressure is in order I’m going to try it and see.

There’s a lot of science behind this!

Man, creatine gives you the best pumps. It also makes your cardiologist’s veins pop out when you have a crap heart. I was told to stop being naughty with it. Hehhhhh.

Yeah hearing that. It spiked my blood pressure but I’m going to go back and see. It’s a no brainer if your lifting and doing exercise and it’s proven tech these days.

My shrink is this little weedy guy but swears by it as a swimmer!

There’s lots of people in the world that don’t eat meat and they are still alive, i don’t think they lack intelligence either, i would substitute meat if i could but i definitely try and eat it sparingly.

Cattle land area around the world takes up about the whole of south America if you put it all in the same place, its a bit crazy i think, also people who eat bean stews are very healthy from what i heard.

I typed into Google ā€˜is a vegetarian diet bad for you’ and it said No.

Google creatine and IQ. The research is well proven out at this point.

I googled meat and it said its not essential, It also said that our bodies produce creatine naturally as well.

if i had any more brains i don’t think i could control it with my illness lol

Methionine is an essential amino acid needed for your body to produce creatine on its own. Your body can’t make this amino acid. You need to ingest it. The best source for it is meat or fish.

I think I’ll ask my dr or pharmacist about that, i am seeing some mixed results on my browser.

Tell that to our hunter gatherer ancestors.
