Cattles stopped being part of wild once we domesticated them.
They are living properties. Have financial and cultural significance. Not just dietary.
What?
Humans have beef eating beef since prehistoric times. Domestication began thousands of years ago.
I like meat but I donāt need it. So I aspire to stop eating my cow friends.
But I must add if one avoids meat, itās important to get a nutrition dense diet. Because otherwise you would become deficient in important stuff eg iron and zinc. Best to see a properly qualified dietician from a referral at the GP. Not just some bogus nutritionist.
Iām just saying modernization allowed everyone from rich to poor access to cheap meat.
When before, people ate what was available, and not all people herd cattle for beef, and ate more fish and poultry.
Sick dude. When did you start? Did you do a loading phase?
Does it culminating ?
LOL

True man cool! I only have a few pieces of equipment too. Dumbbells ā¦but I bought a few things in the last week. Boxing gloves, a weighted vest. Itās not necessary but makes things more fun I guess. I find the more fun I made my workouts the more likely I am to do them⦠Anyways Iām derailing sorry lol @cows
Yes yes burger beef.
This is simply not true.
People had access to beef through hunting, husbandry, and purchase or barter. It sounds as if you are basing your whole idea of this on the middle ages peasant or serf.
People have always eaten what was available. And what was local to them. The reason we have so many different breeds of cattle is not just modern hybridization, but thousands of years of domestication around the globe.
Some cultures ate less, some ate more. There is no hard and fast rule, but meat in general was widely available and widely used.
Hereās one link on historic beef use.
This makes sense. Good history.
I did base it on how the wealthy had access to meat in the red meat in the way back days signifying wealth. Not sure where I got that info though.
On a side note, KFC and now Del Taco stopped offering beyond meat which means people donāt want to switch from the real things.
A funny fact is that at one time beef was Poor Manās food, much like lobster.
That is funny, well steak houses and lobster houses are very expensive still. I guess with beef, there is so much range in quality, vs lobster is just expensive everywhere.
Animals in general benefit from being domesticated by people, except for the ones we eat. Sometimes it strikes me that on the farm all the male animals except for the prize bull get castrated and eaten. It hasnāt benefited the male animals on the farm to be domesticated, but the rest of the herd does well.
i lived on a farmā¦we had cattle. had a calf i used to smoke my morning cigarette with. adorable animal. there was a newly born who didnāt make it. i stayed up all night with her in my arms and she died in the morning. milked them but was told iād be fired if it was a real job. too slow i guess. we lived among the cows though. they helped us and we helped them.
Except for the females too old to breed or injured that are sold for pet food.
Once again I have no idea what you mean.
The gay bulls who try to service the other bulls also go to the meat market pretty quickly.
I found that they arenāt really gay. Just really high drive to mate anything that looks sexy.
i know the female cows will mount each otherā¦didnāt know the men didā¦
