Kitty person. I love my kitty even if she is a biter…She has her loving moments too. I like when she lays on me when I’m sleeping on the couch, it makes me relaxed for some reason.

Thanks mortimermouse. I did not know the word polydactyl. Slightly off topic of me; the dinosaur allosaurus may have been polydactyl near a certain age. I love cats and dogs. They are both good companions. It is nice to know there are still people who know animals have feelings.

i used to have 7 yorkies at 1 time cute but dumb as a box of rocks.before that shelti smart dogs.persians for a number of years.now i just have 2 cats i find i am a cat person ,cats r indepentent ,dogs to needy for me.spouse has a samoyed,4 years old

I collect cats.
Have 6 strictly indoor cats-
including the newest find kitten-now 9 weeks old,
4 siblings at 5 years old and
“La Reina” (her title, not her name) at 17 years old.
My oldest one can understand commands (like a dog),and when it’s time for her to eat,she picks up her food dish and drops it on the floor until I feed her.
When she wants to go outside (backyard only-she’s trained to stay in the yard) I tell her to go to the back door and wait for me and she will go and sit by the door.
All will come when called and stop on command.
Honestly, they’re better than kids…well, ok less work for sure.
Outside, thanks to one particularly nasty neighbor who hates cats, I only have 4 not 6, and 2 less possums.
Dog person…
@shutterbug, plz don’t eat dog…
