Cannabis Use Articles

Hi, can anyone link me some articles on cannabis use?
I’m looking for some with proper data, that goes into great depth on the various studies.
The ones I’ve read so far are always so vague and just suggest that there were finding of connection between psychosis and cannabis use. They don’t explain the studies, say who conducted the studies, or give any concrete proof.
Also the same with studies suggesting the opposite, that cannabis is safe, unless you are a minor and still developing.
The recent Harvard study that debunks cannabis causing psychosis, is the only decent one I’ve found, so far.
I’m looking for accurate and detailed articles from both sides of the argument. If you know of any, please post below.
Thanks :partly_sunny:

I don’t know of any studies i’m afraid but i have personal experience of using Cannabis and yes, it altered my state of mind (not in a good way) it could have been a trigger.

it has to be noted that it was street drug and not the apparent safe stuff you get just now.

@SzAdmin posts cannabis articles all the time,

I’d look in his topic history for something.

Don’t expect to find anything good about it medicinal uses.

Anything remotely positive about pot gets flagged,

Even if its about prescription use.

I guess its considered encouraging and a lot of people here believe cannabis caused or worsened their psychosis.

I’ve learned to keep my legal/safe/prescribed a physician options about weed to myself,

Most the time, anyway.

Discussions about cannabis use that are not recovery-oriented are forbidden. It’s a recreational drug, and we don’t allow discussions about that. Surely, you can imagine why we have this rule. On that note, I don’t believe cannabis can cause schizophrenia, which I’ve said many times here. But it can cause psychosis (which is partly why I closed this thread).

Here is a summary of the articles - many more support the idea of marijuana triggering and making psychosis worse, and THC seems to be the primary culprit:

I think you may be suffering from confirmation bias, where you don’t consider the multiple studies establishing a link between psychosis and marijuana to be valid because you don’t like the conclusion, and instead are holding up a single contradictory study as ironclad proof.

The study was actually about the potential causal link between cannabis and schizophrenia. I don’t remember ever having seen a study that questioned the link between cannabis and psychosis. That connection is pretty obvious. And weed also worsens negative and cognitive symptoms. It’s generally a good idea to stay away from the weed if you have sz. Quitting weed was a big step forward for me.

Sorry for posting the 4th new post in a closed thread. Bad style. I just felt this was important to say.
