I can’t really remember my psychotic episode in hospital, so I doubt I had insight. I was being forcibly treated with ect at the time, so that might also be what wiped my memory.
Its not psychosis that ended me in court

I’ve also done a lot of dumb things I shouldn’t have done when psychotic.

I was aware I wasn’t well but psychosis was something I didn’t think I had. My pdocs had to confirm it.

I usually remain insightful when psychotic. I can fully believe my delusions but still have the knowledge that others would find it delusional, yet it still feels real to me.
I’m just gonna keep saying it but I feel like this threads you’re making (“am I sz or ocd”) is part of your compulsion and feeding into your compulsions only worsens it. You can have both I know I do.jist accept what your Dr tells you and move on.

If you want to get over this obsession you have to fight off asking these questions. Like I said trust your dr.
The reality is no one here can diagnose you. You have to accept that

Well the freedom is yours to not take your medicine and end up delusional and in a court order to be locked up in a psych ward with medicine forced on you

It’s what the government do in most countries , there’s even sections for it, section 1,2,3 etc. Before antipsychotics were invented ,lunatics were locked up in mental hospital and for a few years lobotomy were conducted on them.
Now they advanced to the extent where medicine and ect are used instead. If you stay in psychosis for a long period of time by refusing medicine, the government has the right to put you in a psych ward and force ect aka brain zap on you. Then you will lose a good chunk of your memory and ability to control your urine and poo for a while
Check with your doctor what I have said if you don’t believe me or check with your lawyer
Basically I become out of touch with reality partially or in a worse case scenario completely.
Reality often is the delusion, not sure you can define the insight then. They will try to put you in reality, but its the same one you were in before.
