I believe it can be yeah, I was 16 near 17 when I started to lose interest in the world, 21 when I gad grandeur and illogical beliefs

It could be possible that your sz isn’t as bad as others. My symptoms are most prodromal and after four years it didn’t got worse. Be very serious about your meds and trust your doc.

I was diagnosed this year with paranoid sz and I think it’s a little weird because I’ve never had voices or have serious delusions

It was the same with me. I stopped taking medication and things got worse.

The delusions were not serious to you, but they were still delusions and it’s not usual to have them and especially if they are affecting your functioning its better to treat

This is a support forum so I am going to try to remain quiet about things I could bring up from your past on this forum. But I will say that you are either in denial or lying. It’s one or the other. I do not believe for a second you faked all of it and then suddenly really became sz.

I meant before I was diagnosed with psychosis at age 11 because I had the same idea of my mom going to kill me back then

Sz has many flavours to it, some have hallucinations, some don’t, some have delusions, some don’t, some have paranoia, some don’t, etc.

I had to brutally accept my illness. I didn’t have a choice.

You need to do the same. You seem to be in denial.

I know there’s a lot of shame and stigma revolving schizophrenia but it doesn’t have to define you.

You are still young and you have your whole life ahead of you. With the right meds you’ll probably be able to live a good life.
