Only if you do it with your left hand. ……… Just kidding. My personal belief is that only if you do it to excess will it harm your mental health. There is the theory that pornography objectifies women. They say that the women’s movement is split down the middle about that. I think that worrying excessively about masturbation could give you an obsession with it.

When I started to stop materbating I started hearing voices and geting pariniod that people where following me

Yeah it was weird I stopped to get closer to god and got further away it was realy hard to stop

tbh , i think it is better for our mental health if we can stop rathar than doing it. It is better to quit than not quit. so i think what you said are really strange …but maybe they are actually irrlevant , there are also other things that may worsen your psychosis at that time actually, like meds
I haven’t been following this thread, but I have always stated that masturbation was one of the first symptoms of my schizophrenia which made it worse. Chinese pulse readers, if I can use a specific term to differentiate between modes of medicine, claim that there is a difference between the neurotic pulse after masturbation and the healthy pulse after sex. My theory based on brainwave entrainment is that sexual stimulation synchs the brainwaves with whatever is the focus of the stimulation. Thus in healthy sex you synch with your partner, in masturbation you synch with whatever you are masturbating over, which is usually a combination of external artificial stimulus and yourself. For me, since I always thought porn was exploitative, I drew pictures to masturbate over, meaning that I was entraining my mind with myself even more extremely. Such self-feedback loops can distance oneself from the wave structure of the environment, leading to dissassociative thinking which can cause psychosis. There is nothing religious about this. It can even be empowering as self-feedback loops so often are, it depends on what you concentrate on, which is why the likes of Crowley, not to mention the Pharoahs of Egypt, practiced it ritualistically to manifest change. However, for me, it being derived from earlier sickness of unrealised schizophrenia, it only made things worse. Sex education has a lot to answer for.

i agree with you that maybe when i consumed porn . it triggers schizophrenia but on the other hand actually my unrealized schizophrenia at that time have put me more addicted to porn, and they maybe interrelated.
