In theory yes, but it depends on why you are overweight and possibly the meds you are on. I quit Olanzapine a little over 4 months ago and I went from 187lbs down to 158 lbs, and I lost more weight prior to that while I was lowering my olanzapine dose.
So in 4 months I lost 29lbs (about 13kg) which is almost half of your goal in a 1/4 of the time you have set as a timeline for yourself. Meds may make it difficult, you may have to work harder on your diet and exercise.
I’m on clozapine and Abilify injection
I’ve never been on clozapine. I was on abilify pills, they didn’t have any side effects but they had no therapeutic value either, I became psychotic.
Meds cause a lot of people to gain weight though. It’s a problem a lot of people face. Good luck though!
You can easily lose 30 kg but it will take alot of effort and commitment.
Cut out carbs completely, only eat lean meat and vegetables.
Why should I do that
Yeah meds tend to slow down metabolism… when I was on invega sustenna, I got chubby as heck and my face was sagging…
I also was in Japan so I ate rice everyday… and age… I was working with rice everyday too.
I don’t want to deal with rice for a while lol

Exercise and being outdoors working helped me a lot.
I’ve lost 15 kgs in 4 months, but it takes discipline and commitment. You have to learn to say ‘no’ to food and ‘yes’ to exercise. (I’m on Invega)
Im trying to do this, by having smaller portions. Does this sound right? With maybe a little exercise. How are you doing it?
I count my calories and limit myself to 1500 kcal per day. Besides that I do a couple of times a week a long walk and go regularly on my exercise bike. Good luck!
Whats 1500 calories look like to you on a typical day?
One banana and coffee in morning. At lunch I drink a shake (from Jimmy Joy) of 400 kcal. In the evening I eat 4 slices of bread with cheese or vegetarian spread and a cup of soup or a salad. That’s about it.
Wow thats very restrictive, i eat porridge for breakfast, a tuna sandwich for lunch, and have a dinner then in the evening (meat potatoes veg) any less and i dont have any energy
I try to eat 1600 calories/day
In a few months i had lost 40kgs.
From 100 to 60. But i regained them

My aim is a further 19kg by eating enough to sustain me
