Lots of beans and rice. If you add spices, it’s actually a great meal.

We do a lot of rice and ramen for side dishes or weekend lunches.
Rice is pretty common plus I also have a bag of potatoes for mashed potatoes

we live on salmon patties for dinner…take a can of stinky salmon (the smell goes away when you fry it) and add a row of crackers crumbled up in it with one raw egg…make into patties and fry in butter until brown on each side…
Another vote for spaghetti
You can cut the potatoes into 1 inch chunks, saute with onions and have some taters n onions!
buy some chicken from the supermarket and just roast it if you can
Yeah rotisserie chicken is always inexpensive and full of protein.
