Can anyone be truthful and tell me that I’m not schizophrenic? I really believe I’ve been implanted and that I’m watched all over the country. I’m tired of being told that I’m schizophrenic if I’m not. Can someone just be brave and tell me the truth?

I totally agree that just being told I’m schizophrenic is not very helpful. I hate when the word is thrown around as though it’s an insult, or that I’m less of a person because I have schizophrenia. I think a nice comeback is “I don’t suffer from insanity, I enjoy it.”

Personally, I suffered from insanity. I’m so glad I don’t anymore. Right now I have the flu though.

I really want the truth. The doctors can diagnose me, but that doesn’t mean it’s true. I really believe they are in on the cruel joke and trying to keep me in the dark. So they say I have schizophrenia.

No one here is going to encourage your delusion. You are very sick and need more help. I’m not trying to be mean, I’m honestly concerned.
You need to be honest with your pdoc. You need to come clean about how you hear people saying things and how you believe in implants. Maybe you need a week or so stay in a ward to get medicated properly.

I’m sorry you’re feeling lied to. Unfortunately none of us here are equipped to tell whether you are or are not schizophrenic. Only a professional can say for sure. It took me a long time to realize that it’s okay to find trust in what your psychiatric team/pdoc tells you. Even if it’s not what you’re hoping to hear.

Hey… Have you ever had one of those times when you wake up after a long sleep and you look back at the last day and just have a moment to silently reflect on it and see it in a new light?
I’ll admit that usually schizophrenics delusions have a smidgen of truth to them
I think if you could find some way to get some sleep you will wake up realizing that some of the beliefs you now we’re possibly made a little hastily…
I know exactly how you feel right now I think because ive been there. And some of it is real. But after meds which help you sleep and relax trust me you’ll get a chance to think really deeply and see all the stress and quick decision making you’re having to make atm because you’re panicking … Some of the beliefs really are false.
There might be some truth to it, but I promise it’s not as big as you think it is.
