I don’t know how long they’ve been doing it on the menu, I just noticed recently. Drove through KFC today. One meal with three pieces of chicken, mashed potatoes and a biscuit was 1800 calories. Nutritionists say that about 2000 calories per day for an adult male is recommended.
That’s 1800 calories? Wow.
Yeah it’s compulsory out here. Most of my favourites aren’t too healthy. A big mac, small these days but still a lot of calories.
I’ve been eating healthy last few weeks and when niece was up had some KFC. All that fat really hit me. It really was something heavy and I went and had a nap. True story. I’m eating more healthy after that.
A large pepperoni pizza from Dominos has 2,500 calories.
It’s pretty bad. I used to eat them all the time.

The only nationwide takeaway chain here is Dominos. Then there’s 2 local kebab places . A couple of places that do Indian food and a few places that do Chinese . Lastly there’s a fish and chip place That’s much less than was available where I previously lived . I’ve gone from about 14 takeaways a month to about 2 a month .
My cholesterol has gone from mid 6 to low 4 .
Fried chicken has a shitload of calories.
Anything fried really.
If you’re watching your calories, avoid bread and anything fried.
Crunchy taco supreme from Taco Bell is 190 calories. That’s usually my go to.
Wendy’s chili or mcdonalds snack wrap have lower amounts of calories. I used to eat those when I was dieting.
I love taco del mar. Bean burritos and Mexican rice and beans. Or enchiladas. Oh now I want Mexican food!
