Bt Cloud closing

Need an alternative.Has to be reliable. Good amount of storage=100 gb+. Reasonably inexpensive. Uploads folder as well as single files. Uploads updated versions of a file. Easy and quick to use i.e no unnecessary fiddle faddle. Compatible with files/folders on a flash/pen drive . Good upload speed.

Dropbox,Google drive, and Onedrive, have been used previously. They weren’t good enough for one or more reasons, re criteria above.

I think you can use hard drive but it’s not reliable.

Best is to pay and be safe.

I understand the need for a reliable and efficient cloud storage solution. Here are a few options that might suit your needs:

  1. Sync.com: Known for its strong security features and ease of use, Sync.com offers plans starting at $8 per month for 2TB of storage. It supports folder and file uploads, versioning, and has good upload speeds¹².

  2. pCloud: This service provides up to 2TB of storage for around $8 per month. It supports file and folder uploads, versioning, and is known for its user-friendly interface. pCloud also offers a lifetime plan, which can be cost-effective in the long run¹².

  3. IDrive: IDrive offers 5TB of storage for about $6.95 per month. It supports file and folder uploads, versioning, and has a good reputation for reliability and speed²⁴.

  4. Google Drive: With plans starting at $1.99 per month for 100GB, Google Drive is a cost-effective option. It supports file and folder uploads, versioning, and integrates well with other Google services²³.

  5. Dropbox: Known for its simplicity and ease of use, Dropbox offers 2TB of storage for $9.99 per month. It supports file and folder uploads, versioning, and has good upload speeds²³.

Each of these options should be compatible with files and folders on a flash/pen drive and offer good upload speeds. Do any of these sound like a good fit for you?

Also if I may know what the content?

If photos you can use FB and keep it visible only to you. By creating albums.

I think the clarity would be lost ?

You’ve finally got me thinking about cloud storage for myself.

I think I’ll go with Microsoft OneDrive. It’s cheap for 100gb and Microsoft won’t go bust anytime soon.

Can you remember why you didn’t like it @firemonkey ?

Stopped uploading files.

Some images, but more text and copies of web pages.

Oh.

Well, anyway, thanks to you and this conversation I’ve backed up some important photos to OneDrive.

They were scans of negatives and slides.

Thanks all of you. Will check out suggestions tomorrow, or day after that- depending how I feel after the teeth extraction.
