What Cloud storage do you have?

I just bought 100gb for 39p and £1.59 a month after, i have been worried about running out of storage on my computer, i dont even know if its working or how to work it :frowning:

any technophiles?

No idea how your cloud provider works, but imho you should be able to install a desktop app that automatically syncs your local content with your cloud repository. They definitely have a Readme page and a FAQ section, try finding those first.

I have Microsoft OneDrive and Google drive on my android phone. All free. I just use them for backing up really important stuff.

5gb on each.

You get unlimited high-res photo storage with Amazon Prime and I’m using it to within an inch of its life. I also take advantage of unlimited storage of photos at Flickr. My videos live on Youtube, many set to private.

its all the sound files i have and video etc, takes up loads of space,

Video is the worst for being a space hog. One of the reasons I don’t do video.

I’ve been trying to get creative with it, i downloaded Davinci Resolva and watched a bunch of tutorials and i wanted to try corner pinning with a video in the background but i’d need to download news clips and idk where i could get them.

I kind of want to use the video files from the interviews i do and make them look really good.

I’d need a lot more storage if i did that.

I have 100gb with google drive

I pay a yearly amount for Microsoft’s Office 365 OneDrive for 1TB of storage where I am using just over 20GB. I use Office Online a lot such as Excel & Word not to mention the desktop apps of those respective software programs as well.

My smartphone also uses Microsoft Office 365 Apps as well which means both my Surface Pro 8 and Galaxy S22 use and share access to OneDrive.

This is similar to how an iPhone, iPad and MacOS all use iCloud storage together.

I pay £2.49 a month for a 1tb I think iCloud storage?

You get some free, but I passed the 250gb? So I have to pay now

It’s worth it as all my computer, phone etc is on there so I am protected from data loss

Pretty convenient, and much better than using an external disk

I want something that works across any device not only Apple. So I bought the cheapest add on for Google drive that works on Apple and Microsoft, android devices. iCloud does not work on other devices so I skipped that

Yes, a proprietary feature because of Apple’s ecosystem lock down. The same can be said of their App Store & iPhone Lightning connecter.

I have BT cloud storage. It’s not brilliant, but much better than Google drive and dropbox.
