We leave our heating on all the time in Western Canada and the furnace goes on and off as needed. Our combined heating and power bill is about $240 CDN on the coldest months.

During late Autumn and Winter the heat is always on.
My house is a bit drafty so it needs to be on

The winters around NYC can be quite frigid

My heat is set for 22C in the winter. Sometimes I put it to 20C, if I’m doing some cleaning and being active. My bill is highest in January, I think.

I live in Alaska, the heat is pretty much on from September until March. Thankfully my apartment comes with heat included, I just pay electric. But that goes up in Winter since the lights are always on with the darkness. Right now it’s -5 F…

I hope the roads aren’t icy on my interview day, I have to go by bus for 1 hour.

Geez, you must have well insulated houses. My heating bill is about the same in winter but we don’t have snow in winter so it’s never that cold outside.

Our heating and electric is over £900 a month here in my group home, shared between 2 other people. 3 including me - heating is always on. Also if it goes under 0c for 7 days we get extra benefit of £25 from the government called cold weather payment. x3. So we are not doing too bad to be honest.

I’m paying over £300 a month just for a room in a shared house for heating and election but this is the whole house. It’s over £900 a month for heating the house but this is just with 2 other people who live here.
