All jokes aside, I was an admirer of Cosby many years ago, before I learned about this. I feel betrayed and disgusted, but I’m happy he’s been convicted in a fair trial. How many times have we seen someone rich and powerful skate away with nothing more than a slap on the wrist? Not this time, and not on appeal I’m betting.

A fall from grace like this is a sad thing, but I think this was a good outcome and one that is healthy for society.

Filthy old perv - he deserves to be locked away.

And yes I used to like him on the Cosby show before all of this stuff surfaced.

Who’s next? What iconic celebrity or famous person will be caught next? I mean look at Cosby’s career and image.

It certainly makes the cliche, “If he could be guilty of it, than anyone can be guilty it”. What beloved star is going down next?

I’ve never said anything bad about Paul McCartney in my life but now it makes you wonder, can someone like him be next? It almost wouldn’t surprise me. I’m using him as an example.

I never liked Bill Cosby.

I never liked his attitude on that sitcom.

Or the way he treated kids.

Just seems like everything bothers him.

Bill Cosby used to lambast the bro’s in the ghetto for their failings, now it turns out he has been doing this. I doubt if he has any friends right now.

What is happening?

No one deserves punishment…

I think it a bit too convenient that Cosby, Michael Jackson, and Tiger Woods were all black, if you don’t mind me saying it. No, Woods of color – excuse me!

Blurb on the back of Albert Camus’s The Fall: “…No man is innocent, therefore no man may judge another from a standpoint of righteousness.”

Benedict de Spinoza wrote that when a perp is brought to justice, it must be done without an attitude of condemnation. Spinoza also said, “Things are not more or less perfect according as they delight or offend human senses.”

Rapists do. They ruin lives. I know from experience.

With what he did, I think he should die now. To say he was a repeat offender would be an understatement.

He obviously enjoyed what he did very much and if was in good enough shape would probably continue even today if he could.

Old age may chamge us a little, but not that much. He means to get sympathy to cover his deeds.

Sympathy for the Devil?

So? The damage is already done, what you can is simply limit his freedom so that he will not be able do that again…

Which is still a punishment

What the ■■■■ does it matter? ■■■■ Jesus and anyone that thinks believing ina zombie gives them right to rape people without consequence.

It is, but only accidentally, the objective is simply to stop him from doing that again…
