Beta Alanine washout period

@everhopeful

I just found out Beta Alanine takes a while to flush out your system.

Just mentioning in case you decide to stop it.

It converts into L-carnosine in your body so it’s probably the carnosine levels they’re talking about.

I took it originally hoping that increased carnosine would help my negative symptoms like the research into the l-carnosine supplement showed.

I took 1.5g of taurine tonight. It Definetely takes the edge off things. It takes a few hours to kick in though.

I’m glad it’s working for you, Taurine has been a miracle sleep aid for me.

I’m desperate for any improvement at this point :smile:

This is what ex-junkies users do, they talk about how to get their brains back to normal :stuck_out_tongue:

I wasn’t a drug user. Just an alcoholic lol.

I’ll rephrase that lol

It’s strange how society has separated the drug interaction of alcohol to other drugs. Alcohol is a drug like any other. Society has somehow separated the two to make alcohol less disparaging. Drugs and alcohol is in fact just drugs.

I’d agree with that to be honest.

The fact is we take drugs that are very dangerous. They will inevitably shorten our lives. Drugs as a by word is a detrimental thing, yet they are also necessary.

Alcohol and other recreational drugs are also a necessary thing to many a traumatised person to cope with life.

Aps are necessary to keep people from being a danger to themselves and others.

There is at the end of the day little difference between a person who needs to escape reality and those in contrast need to live in reality using drugs. So neither should look down on each other.

Nope. I don’t. The only side effect I get really is cognitive dulling.
