Been told something changes in my eyes when unwell

My social worker and support manager told me they can tell I’m ill because something changes in my eyes. Do you think it does when people become unwell?

I think that happens to me. I get evil eyes basically.

My husband can see it in my eyes when I’m about to pass out, even before I realized I need to sit down. But I don’t think it shows when I’m losing it mentally. At least no one has told me so.

I wish people noticed a difference in me.

They don’t.

When I’m not well my mom says I stare off into space a lot, I get like a blank zombie look apparently.

They used to just think that meant I was air headed.

Yes, my parents, cousins, etc., can see something in my eyes, hear changes in my voice, etc., and they know when I’m becoming psychotic long before I notice it.

I do that too.
I have a friend who is super good at seeing when I’m spacing out. It’s like, the moment I start to space out, he notices and are like “Ahem! Berru, You’re spacing! Stop that!” :stuck_out_tongue:

Ok this is what I think. Yea sometimes in a psychosis people’s eyes get google eyed like they’re SO engaged in whatever they’re doing, almost too much, ya know? But on certain medications, people’s eyes get blank and almost dead in one eye where the other eye is fine. It depends on what drug you’re on but some of them do this. I’m on Invega and it makes my eyes look like I’m concentrating too hard and they look glassy and just almost cross-eyed. It’s why I want to switch to Latuda bc I won’t look so medicated. I’ve posted specifically on my eyes looking medicated. It’s the medicine and yea sometimes psychosis. Look for new meds!
