What happens to your eye's when you're psychotic?

I have been told loads of times buy my supported living staff and hospital staff/nurses they knew I was unwell as they could tell by my eyes. I’ve been told this by many different people over the years? Most when I tell them I haven’t got as mental illness which I believe I haven’t.

When psychotic I look at people directly into their eyes for long periods of time.

I don’t know what other people can see but my vision gets blurry so I probably squint. I don’t know.

I do that too. I think to see if I trust them or if they are tricking me.

i cannot look into people’s eyes directly / it is very difficult for me to have eye contact with people/ passer-by . i think it is squinting for my eyes as well

I’ve heard of many psychotic people that their pupils dilate when they’re psychotic - might have to do with hallucinating… not sure though

I don’t know because I’m too scared to look in mirror when psychotic because I will see Alien the evil spirit there
With others I don’t look them in eyes or else they’d read my mind

I guess the eyes are the biggest tell tales of people. You can really tell a lot by a persons eyes. If something is “off” looking at the eyes is the easiest way to see it.

I also got told that. They said my eyes went from light blue to a very dark blue. They could see it in my eyes I was psychotic on top of all the other things I was doing.

I have an ID photo from before I was medicated and I can definitely tell from my eyes in that picture.

I read that the eyes can look darker cuz bigger pupils due to adrenaline
