Been told I look unwell because of my eyes

Like their dilated. Can people tell your unwell because of the look in your eyes?

Sometimes they can.

Yes when I was on stelazine I was driving with my sister and got stopped by police the police man looked at my eyes and asked was I on drugs because stelazine made my pupils dilated

My ex said my eyes looked really far away when I had episodes.

My fiancée can notice I’m having symptoms just by my eyes. no clue how she does it. But she says they change, that I just look unwell.

Once, when I was very psychotic and hospitalized and hadn’t had any sleep for about 72 hours, I fell asleep in the hospital. When I awoke and went to the nurses station and presented myself, all the nurses applauded me. I guess I had had that “crazy look” before and that the nurses could see it was gone.

I’ve had comments during my seizure and fatigue days that my pupils were dilated and I was developing dark circles beneath my eyes. It’s easy to tell if I am feeling weak.

I look stressed much of the time. People ask me if I’m ok a lot. It’s annoying but I guess I wear it on my face and in my eyes.

When I’m in an episode no one can tell… It can kinda get hard to tell reality from non reality and it would be nice if someone could look at me and say something like “sweetie you’re not in reality right now”

my eyes are a bit weird sometimes

Yeap, sometimes they can… My eyes are also often dilated and one pdoc noticed it… It was the first thing he said to me lol… But dont think much of this… All kind of people outside and they all have smth lol  .

Many of my loved ones mentioned that my eyes look glazed or sometimes like im not the same person. It’s like we are completely different people during an episode, like schizophrenia took over us.

With lithium I always looked drugged. Now people who know me say how much clearer I look.
