Been on buspar three weeks. So far its seemed to have kicked in. The dizziness happens some times still. But the anxiety is way down.

My dr only gave me 10 mg of Buspar. It didn’t work at all so I just stopped taking it

I took 60 or 70 mg of that stuff by accident once I got extremely dizzy and threw up

For people it works for, Buspar is a great help.

BuSpar worked well for me. I took it for a long time (2 years-ish), and I got dizzy too for a minute in the mornings, then it fizzled away. It worked as well as any benzo for me.

The doctors looked me over and decided Buspar was unlikely to help me.

I’m sorry, they are surprised it’s working. I have a conference call scheduled next week with my pdoc kinda nervous.

It’s still bad in social settings but I’m handling stress better in everyday life at home.

What we’re not saying in this thread is benzos are very dangerous, whereas buspar seems really gentle on the system.

I’ve tried benzos in the past 3 different kinds xanax, valium and one more I forgot what’s it called. They helped but I felt so different while on them.
