Be careful of scams

be careful with your computer, I got scammed I was looking up Ativan checking when is it too much and then a black screen popped on my computer said my computer was locked due to illegal activity. I called the number all they wanted was money so I hung up and signed up for a free trial of a virus protection. it just sucks since I can’t call my parents anymore the call to the scammers used almost all my minutes.

Another one doont. Open any john cena messages got my buddy on fb…lol john cena didnt die…

I received one of those scams on my laptop and thought of going into Delete Files and searched through the list of files that had just been downloaded by searching not the name, but the date column and deleted the file of that days date. It worked and the scam page disappeared but I was surprised that the name of the file was the McAfee security download. I can only gather that the companies send these annoying and threatening pages in order to scare you into buying an expensive security software. I am no computer geek by any means, but it makes sense. If an alarm company isn’t doing much business they can just organise a few brake ins and you have a whole neighbourhood buying new alarm systems. Or am I just being paranoid? Hmmmmmm?

This video is about the same scammer that had just called me twice in the last few days. Same company name, same phone number. It’s lengthy, so you could skip through it, but the end part is good at around 1:01:00.
