The Nuggets vs Thunder is coming on. Also the Pelicans vs. Cavaliers is coming on. Both will be good games. I will probably watch the Nuggets game. I’m familiar with all the players and it makes it easier to pay attention.
I used to watch the Cavs a lot. Maybe I will watch the game on DVR later.
Are you from Ohio @TheNicestFreak? Lot’s of people are speculating Lebron will leave.
Yeah. I haven’t been paying that close attention recently, but I can’t say I’m surprised. I know the newer players though, and I think they’re cool, particularly Jordan Clarkson. He’s got some nice moves.
He’ll (LeBron) look bad if he jumps ship. Management has done the best they know how. Really Ohio isn’t that great and in some parts there’s not much to look forward to besides having a very good basketball team. With all the injuries the teams record may not be that great now. I haven’t checked on that in a while.
Larry Nance Jr. makes some incredible plays. I guess that’s all I really know about the the Cavs new players. I knew they would get better after they had a bad start. Nobody wants to play them in the playoffs. I really hope the Nuggets make the playoffs, but it doesn’t look like they will.
You know I tend to like energy/defensive players. That’s pretty much what I was when I played in the 7th and 8th grade. I never was particularly tall but I was decently developed for my age because I started strength training I think around the age of 12. Actually I think I was tied for tallest on my team but the kids weren’t very tall. I think I really just had my growth spurt early.
Yeah I had an early growth spurt as well. I was a giant in middle school. I love basketball.
Sometimes I wish I could still play but I developed back problems. Maybe I could do light skills practice and play for a short amount of time if I was very careful. But streetball not organized.
I probably won’t play any time soon. It’s fun to get out there. Injuries are tough especially the older you get.
There was a guy that played for Cleveland-Zydrunas Ilgauskas. He had terrible foot problems and had to basically not jump or barely jump. I think I’d have to play like that. Except I’m not 7’3’’ lol. The young guys just keep getting taller. That probably wouldn’t work for me.
Yeah I remember Z. I think the same thing happened to Yao Ming. I did live in Beavercreek Ohio and my Dad sometimes brings up Vitaly Potepenko. I think he went to Wright State or something.
I haven’t been there but I think I might have been close to there at one point. I remember the name but I can’t remember the player. I think he was a center.
