Lately you are very anxious, brother.
You need to tell your psychiatrist

Sometimes for quick relief I just curled up in bed with a nice blanket and pillow and tried to get some sleep. Sleep has amazing healing powers over time.

I hope that L-theanine helps when it arrives.

Hang in there Jimbob. I have fluctuations where my mind gets anxious also. Listening to music seems to calm me down.

I quite like political discussion on talk radio when I am stressed. Can focus on that and it distracts me

Sorry that you’re feeling anxious, @anon94176359

Whenever I feel that way, I perform deep breathing exercises and it really helps. Inhaling slowly through the nose and exhaling slowly through the mouth.

Anyway, I hope you will feel better soon.

When i am feeling overwhelmed i like to lay on my bed in the quiet with the fan blowing on me. I focus on just breathing and try to think of things that make me happy. I hope you feel better soon.

I like Stoicism, the Daily Stoic is quite good or just reading things like Marcus Aurelius, Epictetus, Seneca On the Shortness of Life, they are wonderfully helpful, also Rainer Maria Rilke said:
“Let everything happen to you. Beauty and terror. Just keep going. No feeling is final.”
Think that’s true. However things may be, you’re doing well my friend

You can defeat your anxiety but you have to be aware of how to ignore the fear of anxiety…take slow deep breaths and focus on a pebble in your hand or a picture on the wall…you can do this !!

Not for everyone, but holding a stuffed animal to my chest makes me feel more calm. Maybe bundle up in a blanket and watch a comedy movie/show?
