Bad anxiety today

Feeling really anxious today. I feel like a panic attack might happen any time.

I hate being mentally ill.

I take hydroxizine for anxiety it works pretty well
I use to be dependant on benzos but i tapered off of them

Ive taken my Ativan (benzo) the last 2 days in a row. I’m going to try my hardest not to take it today.

practice slow breathing and tell yourself “so what???” if you get a panic attack…you made it through them before, and you will live anyways…so once you unplug the fear of anxiety and panic attacks you can defeat panic and anxiety…I did.

I have anxiety every day. Took lorazepam in hospital worked great . Can’t take any anxiety medication now they wront prescribe it. It can be hell but I’m managing

I have anxiety everyday too but it usually isnt as bad as it is today.

I’ve been drowning in anxiety for the last few days. I’ve tried everything except asking for benzos. That might have to be my next move.

Anxiety is the pits, I’m sorry you’re suffering too.

It can be hard, when i get like that i have to stop and take deep breaths, its a challenge but if it gets too bad maybe give a support person a call, we have a couple of listening charities that are very good in my country, I like breathing space & the Samaritans, but if it gets really bad i can call the non emergency number and speak to a Community Psychiatric Nurse,

About a year ago i had the worst panic attack and an ambulance had to come to my flat and take me to the hospital, i was in a horrible state, must have been screaming for at least 7 hours (it was actually hysterics) :frowning: from 10pm until 6am. I was very surprised i wasn’t hospitalised.

,I’m asking bc my dosage is gonna be raised.

Thankfully I didn’t end up having a panic attack and I didn’t take any ativan.
